(Puella Magi) Madoka Magica is a 2011 magical girl anime about a seemingly ordinary 14 year old girl. She laughs sometimes, she cries sometimes, she makes a little too many references to food in her official 100Qs interview - but that isnt the point. One day, she sees a girl in her dream. That day at school, she sees her as a new student as her school. Yuri ensues.

14 years later, there's gonna be a THIRD movie (not counting the ones which basically retold the anime), an EIGHTH game, and probably a THIRTEENTH and FOURTEENTH manga because of the 2 former. Yeah. Sad yuri anime is surprisingly popular. And profitable. This coulda ended at Rebellion, man. Yet we're still here.

Don't let that little rant distract you from my genuine love of this anime. Though I'd be the last to say that I can pick up on it's very many inticracies, I can atleast shout "Oh, wow, that's cool!". "Wow - that's awesome!!". "Gah, this one 's being mean.". "Oh-oh!! Thats yuri!! That's yuri. See, they don't call this a "yuri anime" for nuffat.".

Despite having a depressing measly 3 full books and one short story collection, it has captivated my heart through sheer charm and wit that could truly only come from the [guy of myths] himself. This series is really fun, and incredibly.... fruity. Y'all dont even know.
